Hey There!


I'm Danie H., a 28 year old Capricorn. Ohio Local.
I'm married to my best friend and biggest supporter, Allen. I honestly couldn't say enough good things about him.

I'm stay at home mom & stepmom of 3. Bradyn (9y), Anberlyn (6y), and Jacelyn (18m), who keep me on my toes 24/7. There is never a dull moment with them!


My blood type is caffeine, my go to style is 50 shades of tired and I love a good metal breakdown. I'm a pretty laid back person and I think I have a pretty good sense of humor. I use swear words and sarcasm quite frequently. 

I dabble in a little bit of everything- art, d.i.y., cooking, baking, hunting and fishing- you name it, I've at least tried it. When I'm not chasing the kids around or adulting, I enjoy pinning all the things on pinterest, food and making stuff. Burgers, movies and the Dallas Cowboys are just a few of my favorite things. 

Throughout this blog, I'd like to share with you my creations, advice, experiences and even my fails. I love to learn and experience all that I can and would love to share it with you! 

So, I'll keep my entrance short and sweet- I will be writing about anything and everything, and posting often.

D.I.Y Jewelry Box Makeover

Hey There! So this week I'm sharing one of my favorite past times, turning blahhhh stuff into lovelyish! Lovelyish = lovely shit.   Lovelyish With Danie = Lovely Shit with Danie The more you know, lol. I've been really into taking old jewelry boxes and giving them makeovers. In such a weird way, its so stress relieving for me. The whole idea that I can take something and give it new life with a creative twist is just amazing to me. I scope out garage sales and goodwill for them. My favorites are the solid ones without the glass windows, but I like challenges too. Kid Routine for a Stress Free Summer

Hey There! Its summer break! All the school age kids are home full time, the sun is shining and its finally hot enough for us to complain about how hot it is! Things couldn"t be better, right? Well, if we can be really honest here for a minute, summer break can be stressful. Especially if you have 2 or more kids. With that in mind, I had to find a way to keep summer enjoyable for them and less stressful for me. Well its been summer break for about a month now and I must say, this has been the easiest summer I've had since becoming a SAHM.  What's the biggest difference between the school year and summer break? Routine.
